This application can only be used by users already having an account with EDS (Educational Data System through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) in Washington State and using the eVAL web application.

eVAL is a web-based tool designed to manage the evaluation process . Developed in partnership with the Washington Education Association, the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Educational Service District 113.

The mobile app is an extension to the web-based application. It is meant to make some of the functionality more accessible through mobile devices. The initial release of the mobile app includes two features:

1) The ability for users to upload artifacts (photos, videos, audio) from their classrooms to the website.
2) The ability for users to participate in a "Learning Walk", which is a session where a group of users participate in a series of quick informal observations within a single school building. They score the observation against the framework rubrics and then the group can analyze the results in an aggregated report to see where the school is performing well or may need professional development.
